Monthly Round Up

Gosh, we''ve been busy.

We are so lucky to work with so many great local artists.

In the last four weeks we have worked with:

Paul Seven - https://www.facebook.com/search/top?q=paul%20seven%20paintings who delivered a couple of really practical oil painting workshop.  Paul showed us how to trace and transfer from our photographs and then how to mix and use oils to paint our picture.  The majority of attendees had never painted before - but everyone went home with new skills and inspired to do more at home.

Kate Long - https://www.facebook.com/KateLongWriter who delivered a journaling workshop.  Journaling offers many benefits for mental and physical health by decluttering the mind and improving awareness. It's all about writing down your thoughts, feelings and experiences for self-reflection, stress relief and personal growth. I attended one of the sessions and found it so relaxing.  I'm definitely committed to carry on with my journaling with a particular focus on 'things I am grateful for'.  Kate is running a Memoir workshop on 2 May - you can book via the workshop tab.

Nigel Stanton - https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100011164536639 has delivered a few water colour workshops for us - including a puffin and a robin. Attempting a water colour painting can be daunting if you haven't done it before - but not on this workshop!  Nigel helps you every step of the way. The outline is already drawn on to your paper so that you can concentrate on learning the skills and techniques you need to use the water colours and produce your painting. EVERYONE went home with a watercolour that they were proud of. Our next puffin workshop is later this week - sign up via the workshop page.

We have a great selection of workshops available - take a look and book yours here:  internal://9cb6ce83-c1cb-4a9a-afa7-b725d5380b58
